Let people who ride bikes celebrate that they haven't been killed by a motorist in one of the deadliest cities.

By drinking beer and riding bikes, apparently? (According to that Facebook post).

Real smart. You'll get killed or injured eventually if you do that long enough.*

In big cities and small cities, you make a lot of noise, you get busted by the cops eventually. I don't think there's any real excuse for antisocial behviour. Sure, we can probably all agree that people should accept that noise happens and it's a part of life - but that doesn't mean that these cyclists aren't acting like assholes or, as the OP asked, that they're "good wholesome cycling advocacy."

But it also appears that the actions of a few are bringing the whole group into disrepute. And that's a real shame.
