Nemours Children Hospital

Was Nemours Children's Hospital in operation in Jacksonville in 1953?  I was born here in 1951 but had a blood transfusion from a childrens hospital in 1953 in Jacksonville.

According to the Nemours website, the purchased Hope Haven Children's Hospital in 1981.  I think at that time it was on Atlantic Blvd. just west of University Blvd.
