Theatre Jacksonville 2012/13 Season

My buddy is on the Board for Theatre Jax, and wanted me to relay some info about the upcoming season.

...the more I get to know about the Theatre, the more I realize what an amazing treasure we have right here in Jacksonville.  If you don't know what Theatre Jacksonvile is -- it is a volunteer based community theatre in San Marco whose mission is to enrich lives and broaden cultural understanding through community participation in theatre arts.  I encourage you to take a look at the website and maybe consider attending some shows this year.  If you don't even read the rest of this, at least take a few minutes and watch this video about the Theatre.

Here are the basics on the shows:  The 2012/13 season is just starting.  The season includes the Mainstage Series (5 main shows throughout the season -- I listed them below) and the Guerilla Show Series (contemporary cutting edge dramas and comedies).

Here are the basics on the tickets:  You can buy tickets for individual shows, but it is a much better deal to buy a season subscription for $99, which is a savings of 35%.  The season subscription gets you admission to the 5 Mainstage Series shows and discounted tickets for the Guerilla Show Series.  Details about the subscription packages are below.

There are not many other places in Jacksonville where you can see a great show for $20 per ticket (we pay a lot more to watch the Jaguars lose).
