Thank goodness!!! I am just now learning of the sausage rolls, but they were literally one of my favorite parts of a trip to London a few years ago.

British sausage rolls tend to be more like sausage links stuffed inside a flakey crust. Bakery Modern's sausage rolls are more like Southern-style biscuits with cheddar and sausage crumbles, rolled up like a cinnamon bun. Both are good, Bakery Moderne's obviously falling into the latter category. Seriously gained 5 pounds after a week or two of eating them, but damn did I love them!

I saw the sausage rolls at BB this morning. I would have squealed with joy had decorum not prevented it.

Tres Leches will be opening a 2nd location at the former Bakery Moderne spot.

They're located on Pearl Street, just north of 8th, in Springfield. They're a regular at RAM as well.

While they specialize in desserts, they also have a pretty unique lunch menu.

Check 'em out.

Saw them at RAM this morning and welcomed them to Riverside.  Opening Oct. 1 and very stoked about it.  Won't be putting in an espresso machine with Bold Bean almost next door.

Talking about outside tables and awnings too!  Open 'til 9PM.

Walking distance!!
