What is up with all the illegal drug labs around town?

Just saw on Twitter that the Bomb Squad is enroute to a Motel 6 on Youngerman Circle where there is a suspected Meth Lab in one of the rooms, is there just so much demand for this stuff that people are willing to risk the lives of everyone in a hotel for some smack?

Who knows, your neighbor could be running a meth lab or weed house, who knows, really?
