Hello Jacksonville!

Hey!

I am DJ Ian S, resident DJ for The Pearl, Dive Bar, TSI, and a few others!
I also enjoy hosting local events and such (Zombie walk, when they ask/allow me to.)

I've read this forum for a long time before deciding to make an account.
So here I am!

  I moved to Jacksonville from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio about 6-7ish years ago.
I quickly adapted to the lifestyle around here, hanging out at Eclipse in Riverside and meeting tons of new, interesting, and generally awesome people. I started DJing about 3 years ago at The Pearl and Eclipse, and from there it's been a whirlwind of learning something new every day, hosting events for good causes, and always feeling inspired by the peers I have in the scene here.

I'm big on nerdy stuff such as, building/modifying computers, Firefly, discussing philosophy and psychology. I'm huge on supporting local businesses and events as much as possible (Even offering my services, or a spare pair of hands for free)

I fully believe that people should just "be excellent" to one another, and try my best to never be on a bad side, or have a bad side with anyone.

I feel lucky to live where I do, I've had a long past of living out of doors in Cleveland, and struggling to support myself until I moved down here.
