Suspicious package clears Hemming Plaza

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -
As the bomb squad is investigates a suspicious package found Tuesday morning at the entrance to the Federal Courthouse, police have cleared people from Hemming Plaza, streets in the area are blocked and the JTA's Skyway is shut down.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Hogan Street from Monroe to Duval and Laura Street from Adams to Duval are closed to traffic.

Channel 4 has crews monitoring the situation and will update this story as more information becomes available.
