So...  since the impact fee being collected by St Johns County is a whopping $8,259 for a single family home under 1,800 sf and $11,795 for a single family home over 1,800 sf, it seems apparent that Duval County must try to do even more to compete.  Obviously, the moratorium on the Mobility Fee hasn't been enough to create more new housing starts than our southern neighbor.  Perhaps we should consider an outright gift of $10,000 to anyone who wants to build a single family home?  Would that be enough to catch up?

Or could it be that our citizens have once again been duped?

I think we saw the deception my worry is the council may not care who knows they sold us out.
