Jax Truckies plans food truck rally downtown June 9th

Burrito Gallery will be opening their outside patio into the lot and opening an outside bar (similar to what was done at Jazz Fest) and we'll even have an ice cream truck... so the event will be both adult and kid friendly.

AND several vendors will have vegetarian options! There will be something for everyone.

Absolutely! The family will be in attendance and I'll be promoting it around the office, as well.

Yes, it was announced on Facebook Tuesday. The winner has been notified. Sorry Miss Minda. I will buy you a brisket skewer or smoked tofu skewer(one of Driftwood's special menu items) or a Cleveland sandwich (one of my favorite items in the Jax Truckies landscape) though if you come see me and introduce yourself at the event.

Just got home

The family ordered

Ribs from Driftwood BBQ
Chicken Soft Tacos from On the Fly
Cleveland Sandwich from Mike B's
Maryland Sandwich from Mike B's
and my daughter enjoyed an Ice Cream from Mom's Ice Cream

We stopped by Burrito Gallery for drinks on the way out.

Awesome time! Lovely people. Rain was little deterrent. I hope everyone comes out!

Great event. Thanks to all who put it together. I hope that COJ wakes up and realizes that these food trucks are popular, in demand, not a threat to brick and mortar restaurants and a great catalyst for small business.

Great turnout and great event. Could really grow into something special for Downtown.

Yep - that was cool. Talk about activity downtown! Great job folks. We got there a little late (most of the food was gone) but we did get some key lime gelato sandwiches. Perfect for a hot day. Then we rode up to the disc golf course where I got my usual beat down from Jacob.

This looked really good - next time...
