The new version of Les Mis?rables is proving more successful than ever with its new design, direction and orchestrations, it is also breaking box office records wherever it plays. The Artist Series has brought this barn burning production to the Times Union Performing Arts Center for the close of its blockbuster 2012 season, and thanks to the indefatigable Sarah Roy, (who convinced the cynical Stephen Dare to go see Les Mis one more time) MetroJacksonville was blown away by a completely restaged and tumescently cast production that is every bit as good as this seasons "Wicked".  GO SEE THIS SHOW!  More after the jump!

Awesome!  By far my show.  Seen it about a dozen times all over the world.  Can't wait for tonight. 

So the new sets are basically projections on a backdrop?  Or are there physical stage sets to interact with too?

Saw it Tuesday and I agree: it was amazing. The set pieces and the way they are moved alone is worth the price of admission. My first time seeing Les Mis, but this one was great.
