Please join us on Wednesday, April 25th from 7pm to 9pm for a traveling road show of vegan food and bicycle inspiration. Joshua Ploeg will delight with an extensive buffet and Elly Blue and Joe Biel will present short videos and a slideshow about bicycle culture, activism, and the economy. There will be time for questions, discussion of local issues, and perusing the traveling bookstore.

Dinner & Bikes will be held at CoRK East Gallery, from 7PM-9PM. CoRK is located down the road from Intuition Ale and Kickbacks Gastropub, and across the street from Bold City Brewery, at the corner of Rosselle and King Street, or here's the address if you want to GPS it:
2689 Rosselle Street
Jacksonville, FL 32204

Tickets are $10 in advance, or $15 at the door (tickets include dinner). If you plan on coming, please consider purchasing a ticket in advance to save some cash, and so the crew knows how many meals to prepare.

This is a great event to attend if you're into bicycling, the economic benefits of biking, advocacy, vegan food, local economies, zines, or pretty much anything awesome. Plus, it's a great way to kick off Jacksonville's Bike Month in May!

This was a pretty cool event although they ran out of food quicker then expected. Enjoyed the counter culture DIY publishing, and we heard the first speaker but we had to split. She talked about the price of transportation vs bicycle transportation and infrastructure, a lot of statistics, good food for though, wish the Mayor was there. The Cork gallery is an awesome space all that old wood and art. Good times.

We had a great time for the RAP Tour of Homes volunteer party last Sunday evening and the art inside is awesome. If you get a chance, go see Corner of Rosselle and King (CORK) and check out the artists spaces!
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
