Mayfair Road and traffic calming

I have a friend who lives on Mayfair Road and I frequently visit with his family on this very busy residential street.  I have observed that motorists like to use Mayfair as a shortcut between Atlantic and Beach Boulevards and these drivers often show little regard to the residents.  It is unfortunate that, in order to shave off a few seconds from their drive, these folks are driving above the posted speed limit and could potentially injure or kill a cyclist or pedestrian.  If you agree with me, please contact your city council member today.  I believe that we need to install traffic calming devices (e.g. speed bumps, speed humps or whatever) to ensure that Mayfair Road residents are able to enjoy their neighborhood without fear of being hit by a car.
