Northeast Florida Sierra Club will be hosting the movie Revenge of the Electric Car. The movie is the sequel to "Who Killed the Electric Car" which chronicles the death of the electric car industry in the US and the rise of the gas engine automobile. This movie takes us inside the companies competing to make the electric car, the car of the future.

Turns out there are going to be THREE electric cars at this event; two Nissan Leafs (Leaves?), one from the dealer and one privately owned, as well as a Chevy Volt, the car hated by Republican presidential candidates.

The movie is a bit obsolete as the EV-1 is todays Electric Volt. These cars are great, hope we can protect them from republican reactionaries!
Example being, the state of Florida should provide a monetary rebate on the purchase of an electric car, as the federal government does.

Jerry, this movie is brand new and has not been released yet.  It is the sequel to "Who Killed the Electric Car" and about how electric cars are making a comeback.

Sierra Club has been given the right to screen it prior to the official release.

I love the quote from the old Frankenstein movie on the poster for this one.
