The UNF Ospreys baseball team defeated the #1 team in the country, the Florida Gators tonight at Harmon Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd.

This is a big moment for UNF athletics, and brings the all-time series between the two schools to 5-5, with the Ospreys 3-0 in Jacksonville.

Go Ospreys!

Congrats to the Ospreys! How many games do they play UF this year? If they were to play a best of 5 or best of 7 series, could the Ospreys win the series?
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."

Do you believe that when the blue jay or another bird sings and the body is trembling, that is a signal that people are coming or something important is about to happen?

The Ospreys and the Gators play one more time this year, in Gainesville on May 8th. Not sure how UNF would hold up in 5-7 game series, but they are split 5-5 all time.

UNF was ranked at 23 in the mid-major poll a couple of weeks ago, I'm looking forward to the updated rankings to see how this game had an impact.

The ospreys regularly beat UF and FSU, Dusty Rhodes did a great job with that team for many years. Glad to see they still got it!
If only they could get their basketball team together...
