Next Waterways meeting 10 days out.
We are so LOST.
Planning a RICO paddle for Downtown. Is there anyone and I mean anyonone that wants to write a check even for a buck to 2009-442 the Artificial Reef Trust Fund that can immediately go to the 6 permitted reefs in the River south of the Fuller Warren?
I will deliver it personally on you behalf to the full membership of the Jacksonvilee Waterways Commisssion on 4/10/13

I am Downtown and why you aren't.

I hope Mayor Brown vetoes  2013-214 that those that are at the city council meeting 4/9/13 just witnessed a unanimous vote for waiving and making this an emergency without Public Comment. The crushing of the Public Trust. MJ'ers what if we found 20 acceptable chairs for the city council and take that savings and then deposit the savings to 2009-442.

6 permitted reefs south of the Fuller Warren Bridge. Jacksonville Waterways meeting 4/10/13 at 9:30

Lets join Mayor Brown in making Downtown a Destination and not a pass through. This could be a positive benefit instead of another back room deal.

The March 7, 2012 Jacksonville Waterways Commission Artificial Reef subcommittee meeting was off the charts. (So to speak)

Jacksonville Waterways Commission member and chair of the Artificial Reef subcommittee Scott Shine is a Super Hero.

One of the first official recipients of an inshore Artificial Reef (Creating Fish Habitat) will be off the San Marco area. Congratulations to District 5 and councilwoman Lori Boyer.

The creation of legislation will come before the  Jacksonville Waterways Commission March 14. At that point it will be moved out for city council consideration. Special shout out to Jody McDaniel and Dana Morton. Dave Roman with the administration was in attendance but left before the recommendations were made. Dave is super and everyone acknowledged him and Mayor Brown with the Kayaking Initiative.

Jody McDaniel reminded everyone when the topic of funding was discussed about 2009-442 and now there is some money in it. Given how this subcommittee is aggressively moving forward and by that I mean instead of saying we need to spend another $80,000 to $100,000 for a study we are going to take that money and get our first Inshore Artificial Reef under our belt. South of the Fuller Warren.

Mayor Brown you want Downtown to be a Destination? This will put us on the International map.

Capt. Jim Suber had a fantastic suggestion in utilizing JSO. Commissioners Burnett, Hodges, and Swann are all on board.

I hope everyone realizes that the funding mechanism is in place. And the props to that goes to former Mayor John Peyton. He created the account. As a community ANYONE and I mean ANYONE can right a check to 2009-442.

According to Jody McDaniel we are 9 mos to a year out. She will be working extra hard to get some ducks in a row by April. Then it also depends if it gets the go ahead from the administration. I have no idea why it wouldn't.

As this moves forward and it is. For me personally I think about Downtown and as a resident and participant to Super Bowl XXXIX and at the time the man who put it together as it related to our River was Steve Nichols. He was a member of the Jacksonville Waterways Commission and the dockmaster of Epping Forest. Mr. Nichols will always hold a place in my heart. Nichols Reef. I'm just throwing it out there.

There are 5 potential inshore locations. The offshore locations with the adjoining counties within 3 miles are also being considered. More hoops to jump through. The economical jumpstart is Inshore.

With new ownership of the Jacksonville Jaguars if everyone in the MJ group wrote a check for a $1.00 to 2009-442 and then you decide how many zeros you want to put behind it. EVERYONE will be a part of Jacksonville history. That is a fact.

We are all Downtown.

It Khan Happen.

This was being discussed on a fishing show today. Very Positive. Waterways meeting 4 days out. This is International news.

A donation was made last night at city council for 2009-442. Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting 4 hours out. Appreciate some of the phone calls. Will be adding someone Else's check today. one of the biggest most positive benefits in this cities history and will be a HUGE story.

Congratulations to Captain Vic Tison, Captain Roger Bump, both with the Recreational Fishing Alliance that attended a Jacksonville Waterways Commission meeting to talk about snapper closures offshore. The subsequent Artificial Reef Subcommittee meeting chaired by JWC member Scott Shine and former COJ employee Dana Morton woke up this hibernated project and the momentum is non reversible. 6 permitted reefs south of the Fuller Warren is happening.

A noticed meeting 5/29/13 chaired by Scott Shine the chair of the Artificial Reef Subcommittee will be at 9:30 4th floor city hall.  The Public Trust has been destroyed when it comes to our Waterways especially in our new Downtown Restricted Authority.

At the March 13, 2012 Jacksonville city council meeting Kirk Sherman assured me that my checks have been deposited and at the Jacksonville Waterways Commission 3/14/12 will also show a correction to the minutes of the March 7, Jacksonville Waterways subcommittee meeting that 2009-442 is a viable funding option for this community that can move forward and put Jacksonville on the world stage as a Downtown Destination. Especially as it relates To Public Access and economic opportunity to our St. Johns River our American Heritage River a Federal Initiative.

So, Who wants to write a check and be part of Jacksonville history? Who beside Khan, Khan Make It Happen.

The first 5 that write a check even if its for a buck I will personally pick it up and also treat you to Robert's Eatery.

Field, I still owe you from last years River cleanup when we had that drawing out of a shopping cart using Jacksonville city council speaker cards. Write a check for a buck and we will have a buffet at Robert's.

Doug Skiles I still owe you and Jacob and it would be an awesome endorsement of a $1.00 check. The check would be made out to the City of Jacksonville. Put 2009-442 on the check. And just write Artificial Reef Trust Fund next to for.

Be a part of Jacksonville history. It has already been established by ordinance. This can happen as fast or as slow as this community decides.

I'm excited as heck and can't wait to share with our regional partners, Commissioners of FIND, The governor, Mr. Paul Anderson with the Port Authority you have to be excited about this. Can't wait to meet you and share this with him.

Jacksonville's Downtown Citizens Reef!!!!

24 hours out. City council meeting. Next day is special meeting of Waterways. On 5/30/13 Is the final day of SHIPYARDS III. Will the floating dock be exempt from the RFI? remember the RAM dock is only open when RAM is open. Not Good.  Is there anyone who wants to write a check to 2009-442 The Artificial Reef Trust Fund? I will deliver it personally on your behalf.
