The Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) is an extremely graphic and "in your face" traveling anti-abortion campaign that travels the country with giant signs and billboards that they erect on college campuses to "preach" anti-choice/anti-abortion messages to students. They feel that the more graphic the signs, the less likely students are to go out and get an abortion, even though their signs are inaccurate and filled with lies. Those affiliated with the campaign will also stand in front of these giant billboards and pass out literature and preach anti-choice rhetoric to students to try and convince them that what their signs say is 100% truth, etc.

The fact that this is allowed to happen on college campuses is atrocious. I recently had the pleasure of personally meeting Dr. Fletcher Armstrong face-to-face recently when he was outside of my clinic with the protesters who are out there daily ostracizing our patients.

I feel that it is time that we take a stand! Yes, they will be on campus and there is no stopping them now. But, that doesn't mean that a pro-choice presence cannot be standing there to dispel the lies and also let them know that they are not welcome. Please, spread the word and invite all your friends to this event.
I have put the times up that GAP has for assembly but we may not necessarily stay that long. This is also a two day affair, if we so please.

We will need to educate ourselves ahead of time with proper pro-choice advocacy facts, like proper abortion procedures, laws, etc. so that when we are confronted by their lies, we can counter with truth. We can even have our own literature or printouts for reference. We can also have signs to hold and buttons.

If you'd like to educate yourself more on what this organization is about, check out their pages here: (warning for the graphic photos and lies)
