While at Carmine's last night, the owner informed MJ board members that he's in the process of taking over the recently closed Jackson's Grill space near Park & King.  His new restaurant's menu will focus on burritos and tacos.  He referred to the concept as being a mix between Burrito Gallery and Taco Lu.  The new restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open in Spring 2012.

Nice!  I love the expanding dining choices within 2 blocks of my house!

Great idea...been wanting a convenient, fresh Mexican place for awhile.

Hope they can pull it off successfully.

If those guys are involved there's no doubt this will be a success.

Great news, I hope it is true. I love Carmine's and we could use a taco place in the area.

So many great additions. Now all we need is Indian food, please.
