1)Memorial Park- best place to people watch on a busy day.

2) Ft. George Island- Mt. Cornelia (highest pt on the east coast south of outer banks) & the grand old mansion the state is letting fall apart.  Try the off-road segway tours.  Pretty neat way to see the island.

3) Willie Browne trail at Teddy Roosevelt preserve-Gorgeous martime hammock with a trail along the river bluffs and an overlook that is the perfect spot for lunch and a good book.

+1000. This one is often overlooked. One of the smoothest, easiest airports around.

#1:  Anywhere on the St. John's River or its tributaries
#2:  EverBank Field
#3:  University Club or River Club.  Doesn't happen much, but when I get the chance to go up there, its the best    views in the city.

1)Memorial Park- best place to people watch on a busy day.

The last two times I've made the trip out to Memorial Park (this weekend being the most recent), it's been closed.

Really frustrating.

Love it when it's open though :)

2. Most backwater creeks and canals off the Intracoastal and St. Johns waterways in my kayak
3. By my friends pool with family, an endless pitcher of Mojitos and oysters on the grill

Exactly what mine are,, in same order.  (except different friends with different pool and beer instead of Mojitos. lol)

As odd as it sounds,, its a pretty nice Walmart.  Not sure I would rank it above beach, river, downtown etc though,, but hey,,,, to each his own.

New deck pavers, new coating inside the pool, as well as new deck chairs should make the experience more pleasurable.

I've never known Memorial Park to be closed. Are you thinking of Met Park?
