QuoteJacksonville is still waiting for EverBank to say yes or no.

Three months after City Council approved $4.85 million for EverBank to move 1,000 employees downtown and hire 200 new workers, the Jacksonville-based bank hasn’t said whether it will take that offer or keep the workers in the Southside.

The legislation gave Everbank 90 days to sign the agreement for the downtown move. That deadline passed and the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission used an option in the legislation allowing for a second 90-day period, pushing the deadline to Jan. 3. The bill does not allow any more extensions for EverBank beyond that date.

Im sure if they didnt want the deal they would have said it by now. With there being a letter of intent about a month or so ago, they are still moving. Just taking forever. LOL
