Eagles game will be in London next year. Great home slate just took a major hit but at least it isn't Pats or Steelers.

From a competitive standpoint, that would actually be the game I'd want transferred (that or the Redskins). While there certainly are fans here of Philly and DC, they and the Jags aren't rivals at all. Plus, they matter very little in the tiebreakers (just in the "common games" one and below).

That Redskins/Jags game will be in week 1 as Kirk Cousins faces off against his former team

Lol
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I prefer the Eagles game to be in London. There should be some competitive advantage for the Jaguars. Hopefully, the game isn't FL/GA weekend.

It was probably inevitable that it was the Eagles game switched to London...Eagles had never played there and the NFL is trying to get to where all 32 teams have played there.  I think they will be at 29 after this season?  Plus there is a general emphasis on interconference games going to London, and with the Jags having several other highly desirable home dates this year (Patriots, Steelers) there were going to be fewer tears about taking one of the marquee opponents away.

As of the 2017 season, five of the 32 teams have not played in the International Series: the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans; however, the Eagles, Seahawks and Titans are scheduled to play in London in 2018. Seattle played a game outside the United States in 2012, but it was not part of the International Series. The Houston Texans have never played in London, but played an International Series game in Mexico City.

That leaves Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers never international, and Houston Texans never in London.

Since I nailed it last week with my Jags blow out prediction:

Hacket's game plan will be to have #5 try to win this game and not just "not lose it".

It pays off. Jags 21-16

Dude, you're a prophet...Jags at 21 now

hopefully way low.

There's a lot of game left.  I hope Jacksonville stays in the right place mentally.

Still a long way to go. Hope the D comes back hungry in the second half.

I think the over/under was 41. Already over at halftime.

MusicMan

If we cannot win with a 21 point lead we don't deserve it.

Todd Wash. Refusing to blitz. This has cost us before.

Big Ben unmolested in the pocket means Steelers will complete passes and scores.

Unsportsmanlike conduct call complete bullshit.  he was pushed into the receiver out of bounds.  It's this sort of half-officiating on these types of calls that end up making the game for a conduct class than a display of athleticism.  there should be careful deliberation before calling these types of soft offenses.

4th and 7.  No blitz.  Touchdown.   WTF

Well the O showed up big time today.

Can someone tell me how many 4th down passes the Steelers completed for TD's?

I'm a big Bortles critic, but whatever today's outcome, the team has played like a premier team

MusicMan

It's called a blitz.  We should try it. The 4 man rush has been neat but also let the Steelers go up and down the field all day.

MusicMan

Yes. We also had a 21 point lead and managed to keep the other team in it until the last minute.

wow. I never want to hear Jag fans whine about the officiating again. They have let their secondary mug the steelers.

On the other hand, the officials got the unsportsmanlike call COMPLETELY backwards against the Jags, and they allowed not one but two downfield passes where the other receivers were engaged in blocking as though they were screen passes.  Add to that the network not showing replays of the times the Jags receivers thought they were interfered with, so who knows on those non-calls.  Oh, and how do you F*** up an obvious touchdown call like they did, forcing Marrone to challenge?  Good lord, these officials are a joke, but don't give me this one-sided bull.
