^ chill, as I stated I love the Jags ... It's called sarcasm. It's not even a real press release. The lawyer put it on his Facebook as a joke. If you can't joke about the Jags losing than you are way too stressed in life!

San Fran 48 -17.

Very good prediction, almost got it right on the mark.

One of those idiots on the Fox NFL Sunday panel said that the Jags are a potential team to move to London right before the second half. Did anyone see that? Which moron said that? I hope that angry Jag fans LIT UP his twitter. The national media are like *ucking rumor blogs at this point. This is why I hate the national sports media; *uck them!!!!

I'm with Keith on this one, sorry Jay. The problem is many think that EVERY supposedly 'funny' negative Jags news joke is funny and NEWSWORTHY when it's not. IMO that article was way too dark and drawn out to be funny; Not exactly Comedy Hour quality, esp with people annoyed after the midst of a blowout. There's nothing wrong with reading something amongst yourself (maybe getting a chuckle) without posting it to MJ every single time. That lawyer is no Onion, I'll tell ya that.

Didn't help that Goodell said on Sat. That he still wants a team in London and L.A.

^^^What about expansion years down the line which was mentioned? Just because Goodell wants a team in LA and London, that shouldn't equate to "the long rumored usual suspects teams' (Jax STL etc) are leaving town". So I'm not letting them off the hook with that idiotic rumor.

I get that London is a very historic city, but I got so sick of Chris Porter saying "historic Wembley Stadium" when that was torn down in 2003 (built in 1923) . Today's 'new' Wembley Stadium broke ground in 2002, and opened in 07'. So EverBank Field is more 'historic' than today's Wembley.

I apologize to both you and Keith for offending, was not intentional. In the future I will keep such things to myself as you suggested.

I love the Jaguars and am rooting for them to win today, but got this off Facebook and had to share it was so good:

QuoteJUSTICE IN JACKSONVILLE, FL (AP)

A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a Jacksonville, Duval County courtrtroom drama today when he challenged a Court ruling over who should have custody of him.

The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt. The boy surprised the Court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried and said that they also beat him.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with the child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Jacksonville Jaguars Football Team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Is this suppose to be funny? Its no different than the many ESPN and other articles that are full of crap.

They say there's nothing new under the sun. This is pretty old.  The same exact joke was used for the Bucs during the 80s/early 90s.

Has anyone else been to Wembley, its nice don't get me wrong but they could use an update for those scoreboards, you can barely see them. Several other teams are playing in London next season Miami, Atlanta, Oakland and a few others. Another note on the British commentary they said the 49ers match up was not a good one for the Jags(not talent wise :)) but the 49ers are already popular here and next year will be better b/c for some reason the British don't like the cowboys. I thought that was an odd comment.

I know the Jags have a pretty good collection of picks, but we've got to make more noise in the free agency department than last season, right?

Keith-N-Jax

Maybe we can trade down for more picks, problem with FA is that they are usually older or old and expensive. They will probably get a few, but not go crazy. I think we have learned from our past mistakes you can not build a team with patch work. The more young talent you have, the longer you are competitive over the long haul JMHO though

Can't fix this mess in one year, no matter who you bring in. The Jax Radio guys said that San Fran had 3 #1 draft picks on the OL. They are a super bowl contender. We had one #1 pick and we traded away our other #1 pick, so to me, it looks like Caldwell is following another strategy over what San Fran has done....we'll see.

San Fran also has coaches that sucked with that talent, thus getting more picks than they should have.

It took years to build that team... same with Seattle... and if Calwell does it right... it will take a few years for the Jaguars too.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."
