I thought it was the right call as well, but what bothers me is the call before, why take Drew out if anything leave him in you know the defense will be focusing on him and perhaps a short pass to Lewis or Thomas for the first. Why give it to Deji there? On another note defense is ranked 8th and offense is ranked you know where 32nd. Jags had a chance to win the Panthers, Bengals, and Steelers game. Opportunities in Saints game. Give the offense some more time and a legit WR, team could make some noise next yr. MNF here we come!!! Go Jags.

Holy Shit!!!!! Someone tell a moderator tha KnJ's account has been hacked. ;D

OMg Keith, did someone spike your Teal Kool-Aid? I cant believe what Im reading. LOL but I actually feel the same way you do. Inspite of losing, I can see where this team is going. We definately need a #1 WR. Thomas should be #2 and hill #3. Neither are dependable enough to be #1. The offense just has to gel. Once they get connected with Gabbert, and he gets more comfortable in the pocket, Its gonna be all good from there.

I am READY for MNF. So far this year weve played pretty good at home. The only embarassing moment weve had is the end of the Bengals game. Other wise we have faired well. We really should be 2-1 at home now had we not messed up with the Bengals. Fountain looks great, Wells Fargo sinage is up and Im sure the stadium will be at around 61,000 as it has been all season (maybe even a few more).

Thoughts on the imminent Mike Sims-Walker (re) acquisition?

I like it.

We're getting him on the cheap, and he knows the system.

I've always liked MSW... he's a solid player and I was taken aback when he was canned. Austin Lane is going on IR, so it makes sense to bring MSW back. Austin's good... but IMO MSW's better.

Austin Lane, Zach Miller & Rod Isaac - all heading to IR.

MSW is a pretty good pick up for a few reasons - He knows the system.  He wasn't on the opening day roster.

Even though the system has changed a little, he should have no trouble adapting to Gabbert over Garrard.  And the fact that he wasn't on our roster prior to the start of the season means that his contract isn't guaranteed.  We didn't sign him for big money, and he knows he has to perform to get a contract next year - anywhere.

It's a win-win for the Jags.

It's gonna be a beautiful night at the stadium too.

55 degrees with no rain, if the current forecast holds.

How are ticket sales going for Monday night?

Sucks about Lane. He has been a solid lineman for the team and you can never have enough guys in the rotation.

But I do like what I have seen from John Chick.

It looks like the Jags are expanding their student tickets a bit early. For Monday's game, as the student section is sold out, they're selling additional tickets at a reduced rate here at UNF today.

It's not at quite the discount the student section tickets are, but I have no doubt they will be successful here. This is one of the smartest things they've done.

Per Macky Weaver, about 4000 left as of the end of yesterday.

3910 remaining. We sold like 1,000 tickets yesterday. We will be fine for monday. Im actually very excited. Our defense is much better this year so I dont expect at 30-3 embarassing blow out like last year. hopefully the offense can score 3 TD's (two in one game has been our max so far) and few field goals we can pull this off (wishful thinking)

We can definitely pull it off.  The Jags have overcome much worse odds in the past.

We honestly have two problems: Were playing with a Rookie QB ,we have a laundry list of injuries on our O-line and a horriable depth chart. When our starters go out, we really dont have anyone half way decent to replace them. I just hope Gabbert doesnt lose confidence. Honestly, the bengals game was his first win in my book, the team just gave that game away. We have a tough schedule and its going to make him a heck of a QB

They gave the panthers game away also. I hope its a full stadium, and no repeat of last yrs Monday night game.
