And Rex Ryan's actually a pretty good coach, or at least one that's a lot better than some people give him credit for. He took an absolutely terrible team to just two games shy of .500 these last two seasons.

Rex Ryan has changed alot also. He completely lost the locker and everything was imploding. In the beginning he was to worried about being a celebrity (movies, commercials, etc) and being entirely to nice to the players. I think he has actually grown from all that happening. BUt again, I still believe Sanchez was victim of all that crap that was going on back then.

So if you believe Sanchez was was a victim, do you feel the same about Blaine?  Harbaugh sure does, or at least says it so he doesn't look as crazy for giving up a 6th rounder for someone who was bound to be released.

I am of the opinion that Sanchez's success had more to do with the team around him rather than his ability.

So is it okay that I have my own opinon on here?  ::)

According to Sam Kourvaris, the Jags are rumored to host a 2014 Monday Night Football home game (yet to be determined opponent). The last time the Jags were on MNF was 2011. Wow, I get that SNF has taken alot of the shine off of MNF, but I still didn't see that one coming. If all is true, that would be a great way to showcase the stadium improvements on national TV!!!

I wouldnt say Im shocked necessarily. Back in 2011, I was shocked when we got three nationally televised game.s Our record the three previous season was 8-8, 7-9 and 5-11. So if this is true, I would be too shocked. But it may also show the Jaguar bais is fading? We will see what happens. And plus those new scoreboards are going to look awesome at night  ;D

LOl I do customer service so when I feel like I have explain myself, I get a little defensive because Im explaining myself all day at work LMAO But to answer your question I think Gabbert was definately a victim of some very bad decisions and bad situation all together? Does that excuse his play? no. Gabbert faults are mental and its on him to correct them if wants to start in the league. But I do believe the way the QB situation was hanlded back in 2010 is what scared him, then a terrible coaching staff in 2011.

This story was just shot down.

Kouvaris was mistaken.

No MNF game on the books.

Wouldn't be the first time Kouvaris just threw some BS out there to see if it would stick.

Some people said that Actionnews did an awful job, you'll be wishing that they came back with you know who at the helm of the new Jaguars official station. #samstumpedhimselfyetagain

Our local media is the pits. How can you get that out of a conversion and it was not even said. Talk about being deaf, dumb and blind  :o

So with twitter all abuzz about MJD meeting with the Raiders tomorrow, their fan base is actually excited. Like seats will be sold out excited. It may even rival the Tebow to Jags fanaticism. I didn't pay that much attention last season, but are they really that bad of a team?

On another note, I have to say that I think we've had in excess of one month of positive Jaguars/Jacksonville publicity. It feels good.
Proud supporter of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Probably on par with the excitement over the Cliff Avril rumors last year.

Raiders just lost Rashad Jennings, but they still have DMC.  I presume MJD would enter as a backup, but McFadden never makes it through a season.

Their RB position is up in the air. They we probably play them both, like we did Freddie and MJD.

QuoteReport: Raiders, Maurice Jones-Drew agree to terms

Posted by Michael David Smith on March 28, 2014, 7:20 AM EDT

Maurice Jones-Drew traveled to Oakland on Thursday, and he reportedly won't be leaving without a contract.

Jones-Drew has agreed to terms on a contract with the Raiders and will sign it if he passes his physical today, CSNBayArea.com reports.

Jones-Drew met with Raiders G.M. Reggie McKenzie on Thursday and will now join a backfield that also features Darren McFadden, 2013 sixth-round pick Latavius Murray and former CFL star Kory Sheets.

The 29-year-old Jones-Drew grew up in Oakland and is now coming home to play for his hometown team. The Raiders hope that after back-to-back disappointing seasons, Jones-Drew can show he still has something left.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."
