A few hours ago an old school advertising blimp broke away from its moorings and smashed into a suburban Ohio neighborhood, aparently no harm done except for a trashed airship.

But hold on to your seats, as Stephendare and Myself have been predicting, here comes the new generation and they're big! huge!

I've just learned that along with the US Military and the UK, Canada has just gotten a very positive report on the tests and wants these for enviromental and science beyond the highways. Likewise the Russians are well into launching a series of massive artic airships.

Meanwhile JAXPORT and JACKSONVILLE AVIATION AUTHORITY appear blissfully ignorant of what might be a ground floor opportunity for trans-Atlantic cargo flights.
