Wasnt there one Stockton? I was a very small child, but I remember seeing a 7-eleven everytime my mom took me to the doctor on riverside.

I believe the convenience store at Stockton and Oak Street used to be a 7-11. I could be mistaken because I don't remember it myself, but I was told that it once was.

There is a FDOT construction sign at the Ortega river bridge on Grand Ave, does anyone know what's up with that?

Repairs to the Ortega River Bridge.  Should be done in the Fall.

QuoteGood News. Hallmark Partners state that the Brooklyn project is still active and they have not gave up on it.

Not really news.  It's been said here many, many times.
They need more letters of intent to get financing.  Plain and simple.  The project isn't dead.
The old Brooklyn Park development next door was foreclosed on awhile ago however.

That was a Convenience Mart, not a 7-11. The one with the big red sign with a big letter 'C' with several shadows of the letter 'C' behind it in yellow.

Look for it this Monday or Tuesday.  I spent the first couple of weekends this month in California, so this is my first August Saturday in town.  I took San Marco and Riverside images this afternoon and plan of getting Downtown, Springfield and surrounding areas tomorrow.

Both the Omni and Hampton Inn downtown are starting 2 million(collectively) in renovations on their properties.  That can't be seen from street level, but the Omni is upgrading their meeting spaces and Hampton is upgrading their building's amenities.

I assume you're talking about next to the Ocean St. ramp to the bridge.  Will there be any signage as part of this?
