Chrysler Auto Union Workers Caught Drinking & Smoking Weed on Job

QuoteAt Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly plant, where President Obama once said that our tax dollars wouldn't be going to waste, United Auto Workers (UAW) union employees were busted drinking booze and smoking marijuana during their lunch break.  15 employees were caught in the act when a reporter followed union workers to the liquor store, then to the park, where they passed around joints and threw back some beer.  This seems all too fitting - booze, drugs, and taxpayer dollars.  Only in America.

Adding to the fun is that the UAW has a majority control of Chrysler after the bailout.  People may be asking, what does the UAW and even the federal government know about running an automobile company?  Well, nothing.  But the unions do know how to pay enormous benefits that eventually helped lead to the bankruptcies of GM and Chrysler.

For 10 days, a reporter documented their activities.  After consuming alcohol, the union workers went back to work at the Chrysler plant.  It looks like the quality and control division has their work cut out for them.

The most telling part about this story is when the union workers got caught.  They immediately knew they were doing something wrong and drove erratically and peeled-out from the parking lot - after they'd been boozing.  They sure painted a wonderful picture of union workers.

It's great that a reporter was able to capture this story.  The auto union is no different from the SEIU - or the Soviet Employees International Union.  Your taxpayer dollars hard at work, rescuing the undocumented President Obama's union friends.  It's a match made in heaven.

You've got to love those unions - pay your dues and drink the booze!

I think the biggest problem with unions is protecting people like this.  They hide under the union umbrella and it makes it much more difficult for the employer to deal with the issues.  This goes for people who are just plain horrible employees and others that are doing things similar to this article.

Plus they will have to be suspended until they can have an "investigation" and if terminated then they will file a greivance  which will require even more time and energy on the part of managment to get rid of them.

It bites them in the ass when they are injured and go to file a workmans comp case...where they are faced with a drug test or NO claim.

Are we supposed to take a website seriously that refers to our president as "undocumented"?

Sigma

you can pull it up on about 50 sites if you want to.  doesn't really change anything now does it?
you won't see it on puffington post, crooks and liars, or wonkette however.  and I doubt MSNBC will touch on it.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

This is the first I have heard of this so I looked it up on Google. This story is from last summer.

I don't think they'll file one.  They didn't back in September.

That was the FIRST incident... go to the link I provided... read the article... or better yet... watch the local affiliate news expose.  Freeking hilarious.  These guys were actually doing this at the local UAW parking lot!

Clearly this means all Union workers are the spawn of the Devil and All non union workers bust it until they are about to die and do not let up until 15 minutes after they are off the clock.

People in many walks of life use alcohol and drugs at inappropriate times.  How is the fact that they are Union relevant. I guess we have to hold the hands of those innocent pushover CEOs who negotiated their labor contracts.
