I remember waiting for the official announcement, then ran right out and waited in line at JC Penny to get my shirt...and of course, they ended up being forced to change their logo...but it was indeed, a monumental event for us.

well the logo never changed the jaguars came to agrement with car jag to us the as their offical car so the car maunfactuer dropped the case.

Actually the Jags logo was changed because of the Jaguar cars; The old Jacksonville Jaguars logo (which is the stretched out, leapin' jaguar) looked too much like the car Jaguar logo. I'm glad because I like the current Jags logo 100 percent over the old stretch jaguar logo.

One thing about the old Jags logo is that it presents the "diehard Jags fan" look very effectively, kinda like the old Bucs logo.
