"Please join in the campaign to try and save cross country in Duval Country public high schools. Due to cuts in education spending by our state, the Duval County School Board has decided to cut cross country and several other sports from their budget. This means 17 high schools in Duval County will no longer have cross country teams. All proceeds from this race will be donated to the cause!"
