Does anyone know what is going on with Parkview?  It seems like there hasn't been any action over there recently.

They sure are taking their time with the Park View. I'll believe it's coming down when it's gone.

Friendship Fountain and the surrounding area looks fantastic. What about the San Marco Blvd work, how are those businesses doing? Is the work having the same detrimental effect on them that the Main St work had on some of those businesses?

It has been a struggle for those businesses.  But most are staying optimistic because the end result will be such an improvement.  It's hard to complain too much when you are getting a really nice streetscape in front of your business.

If this works here is a better idea of the progress on Baptist Wolfson Tower by Batson Cook Company.

Has the Wolfson tower topped out yet??

Also, What are they putting in the roundabout at 'museum circle'?  Another statue of AJ?

Is the city required to provide parking for the public portion of Brooklyn Park?

Since that photo was taken, all of the windows have been pulled out of Carters Pharmacy at Park & King.

When I drove by Park and King yesterday, the old carters pharmacy has been completely gutted, even the exterior windows/walls- you can see the entire space, straight through to the backside. It's going to be an awesome space once they finish.

If you ever have any doubt about the possibility of eternal life, look no further than the Park View Inn.  That building seems to be destined to stay up...  LOL

btw...I learned that the odd-looking information kiosks on Laura Street are actually housing the traffic signal control boxes....so, while they aren't that pretty, it is a cool idea.

The wolfson tower has not been topped yet, but they are getting very close. As for the round about, Bob stated they are putting up a scuplture called "Standing Stilts."

Thanks.

I hope the Wolfson Tower has at least 3 more floors left.  I'd like for it to be comparable to the Nemours tower.  The symmetry would provide a cool gateway for travelers on 95 South.

Just walked through Confederate Park. They are working on the Park View right now. They appear to be doing asbestos removal.

I have no idea how the shops & restaurants are staying afloat on San Marco Blvd. - I went to the Q for lunch last week and it was terrible maze of an ordeal.
