I just discovered metro jacksonville a couple of days ago and I am facinated by the neighborhood histories and have suddenly become interested in the history of my own neighborhood.

Any posts or responses and comments that I make will always be respectful in accordance with the agreement with metro jacksonville as a member.

Funny you should ask.  I believe I live in the "Hillcrest" neighborhood the boundaries between Lakeshore and Murray Hill from Cassat/San Juan to Lane/Normandy.  My home, according to records is the Lakeside Park Plat. 

Sorry for such a long answer but that is what my pet project is now...to find out exactly what my neighborhood is called
