City hiring a Tennis Pro???

City employees are taking pay cuts...theres a money shortage, and the city has enough money to hire a tennis pro, at $3100 a month?? Seems to me that salary could be put to better use.

wow...you mean a whole $37,200 a year (assuming it is full-time for 12 months) to lead tennis classes at city parks/rec centers...OUTRAGEOUS!

oops, wait a minute...I forgot...the city has a parks & rec program as well as youth camps and charges people for things like tennis lessons.

please, get real.....I took tennis lessons from the City of Tallahassee 12 years ago....and also took part in progranms offered in Tampa.

Well you know every city position is critical.  And what would the city do without a tennis pro.
