QuoteOCALA, Fla. -- Six people, including a 15-year-old girl and three other teens, are accused of killing a 15-year-old Belleview boy, burning his body in a fire pit and putting his remains into paint cans, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. They were arrested Tuesday night.

Detectives said Seath Tyler Jackson was attacked and shot multiple times Sunday after being lured to a home on 53rd Avenue in Summerfield, which is south of Ocala.
Jackson was reported missing Monday.

On Tuesday, a woman told deputies her 16-year-old son had witnessed Jackson's killing. The teen, who has been charged with murder, told detectives how the group plotted and carried out the crime, deputies said.
According to deputies, Jackson was hit on the head with a wooden object and shot multiple times by 18-year-old Michael Bargo, who is charged with first-degree murder.

Bargo was arrested late Tuesday night in Bradford County, where he fled to stay with friends, deputies said. They said he was found in the back yard of a home near Starke holding a large fishing knife. Investigators said Jackson's body was burned in an effort to hide evidence.

The others arrested were:
Charlie Kay Ely, 18, of Summerfield, who is charged with first-degree murder.
Amber E. Wright, 15, of Summerfield, who is charged with first-degree murder.
Justin Soto, 20, of Summerfield, who is charged with first-degree murder.
James Havens, 37, of Summerfield, who is charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
Kyle Hooper, 16, of Summerfield, who is charged with first-degree murder.

Deputies said Hooper, Wright, Ely, Soto and Bargo were involved in the planning and luring of Jackson to the home. After being shot, Jackson tried to leave the house but was tackled and held by Soto and again shot by Bargo several times, deputies said.

Then, according to deputies, Bargo broke the teen's knees, and others hog-tied him and put his body in a sleeping bag, which was placed in a fire pit in the back yard and burned. At that point, according to the Sheriff's Office, the group used bleach to clean the house and shoveled Jackson's remains into 5-gallon paint cans.
According to the Sheriff's Office, some of the suspects told investigators that Bargo shot Jackson.

The Sheriff's Office said it was later discovered that Havens was aware of the plan to kill Jackson and assisted with the disposal of the remains. Also, Havens gave Bargo a ride to Starke in an effort to avoid capture, deputies said.

A dive team finds three 5-gallon paint buckets in a lime rock pit off State Road 40, and the contents were being tested to determine if they contained a slain teen's remains. Investigators said they were still searching for a .22-caliber revolver used in the slaying. The Sheriff's Office said a dive team found three 5-gallon paint buckets Wednesday afternoon in a lime rock pit off State Road 40, and the contents were being tested to determine if they contained Jackson's remains.

Authorities did not immediately release a motive for the killing, but said there was an ongoing feud between Bargo and the victim, who had had a relationship with the 15-year-old girl. Deputies said the teen who told them about the crime said the leader of the group that killed Jackson was jealous of him.
All six were being held in the Marion County Jail.

Seriously!? All over a girl? What a bunch of sick f***ers! I surely hope they all get what they truly deserve. RIP that poor kid.

+1.  Phenomenal parenting too, methinks.

What is a 37 year old doing hanging out with high school kids anyway?

Before we shoot them all, I'd want to make damn sure that the ones surrounding this crime really thought anyone was going to go through with such a wicked plan.

I've always wondered about Terry Nichols, convicted of the OKC bombing along with Tim Mc Veigh. I can tell you that after the bomb went off there was a general man hunt like I have never witnessed. We were all still walking around in a dust cloud when some deputy in a tiny prairie town busted Mc Veigh. However Nichols they knew about from the get-go and they actually sat out to nail him long before any court convicted him. With images of the dead children still in their minds, Nichols was guilty by association. Did he get a fair trial? HA! Who needed a trial...

We've all had such "friends" as we sat alongside the camp fire... "I'd shoot the president!", or "We ought to skin him alive" etc. But how many of them did you ever think would actually carry out such insanity? It's certainly a gray area.

The news has gone national...

Quote(CNN) -- Six people were arrested this week and accused of luring a 15-year-old boy to a Florida home, shooting him several times, burning his body in a fire pit and putting the remains into paint cans, authorities said. The killing occurred Sunday in the central Florida city of Ocala, according to a statement from the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Two females in the group allegedly lured the victim, Seath Jackson, to the home and the group beat him with a wooden object. He was then shot several times with a .22 caliber gun, authorities said.

As the wounded teen attempted to flee, he was tackled and shot again, according to the sheriff's statement. His body was allegedly placed in a sleeping bag and burned in a fire pit outside the home. His ashes were placed into several paint containers and thrown into a large garbage can, authorities said. Authorities said they learned of the alleged plot from a member of the group who confessed to witnessing the killing.

Four adults and two minors have been charged in connection with the death.
Michael Bargo, 18; Charlie Kay Ely, 18; Justin Soto, 20, and two minors face first-degree murder charges, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said.

And James Haven, 37, faces charges of accessory to the crime for allegedly helping to dispose of Jackson's remains and driving one of the suspects out of the area to avoid arrest, authorities said.

Sheriff's department documents gave little information on what led to the killing other than brief statements by suspects about a dispute and a growing hatred. Divers on Wednesday found three paint buckets in a water-filled rock quarry that are suspected of containing the victim's remains, authorities said.

The contents of the buckets were delivered to a forensic specialist at the University of Florida in Gainesville to determine if the ashes and bone fragments match those of Jackson. Soto's public defender, Bill Miller, would not comment on the case. Ely is not represented by an attorney and Bargo appeared in court Thursday, where he was denied bond.

Haven, who is not represented by an attorney, posted a $10,000 bond and was released Wednesday morning.
The two minors involved in the case are currently being represented by public defenders, who could not comment.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Nichols was guilty by evidence.

That's probably true BT, but my problem with the whole affair from ground Zero was he was guilty before they ever picked him up or charged him! TV stations were already planning the lynchings! The Cowboy era isn't all that long ago in Oklahoma... Ever have your car stopped on the highway for a cattle drive? It makes you wonder how much was real evidence and how much was "Ah hell Jessie, let's just hang the bastard!"

He was certainly a suspect before being picked up.  A search of his house confirmed the suspicions.  As thorough as the FBI was... They missed a few things... only to be discovered a decade after his conviction...

FBI finds explosives in home where Terry Nichols lived

WASHINGTON (AP) â€" Pursuing information they missed evidence a decade ago, FBI agents searched the former home of convicted Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols and found blasting caps and other explosive materials apparently related to the 1995 attack, officials said Friday....

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Certainly they would have such toys, they had a long history of blowing up old cars for entertainment. Again, not all that unusual out in that country where the farm supply sells dynamite. Hell in our Missouri farm, we set fence posts with the stuff, in Oklahoma there are times when the hard scrabble is so tough you'd plant rose bushes with it if you could or if you were that good. There in is another question, did they have it all that time just to practice the art? As I shared with others on this site, one can lay a stick on a table, light a fuse and run like hell only to find a burnt table top after the explosion. Lay a newspaper on top and do the same thing and it will blow the table to atoms... THIS is what the boys were playing with. If that makes him guilty then hells bells I'm your huckleberry.

The evidence of his guilt was overwhelming... as I suspect will be the case with these... people.
