I know Zillow is not perfect and many realtors, including many near and dear to me, would say otherwise but the numbers do not lie and many out here know I love my numbers. So here are some interesting stats for us to ponder or chew on.

Zillow Home Value Index (as of 4/1/2011): Median Home Price in Jacksonville AREA: 123,100 ,  down 13.0% Year over Year. In fact, not one local area showed a rise month over month, quarter over quarter or year over year. This shows me that real estate prices are continuing to fall in Jacksonville, so if you are looking for real estate, you can still get good deals as prices continue to fall.
And, that $115 will save Jacksonville from financial ruin. - Mayor John Peyton

"This is a game-changer. This is what I mean when I say taking Jacksonville to the next level."
-Mayor Alvin Brown on new video boards at Everbank Field

I'm gonna wait a little longer. When gas breaks past $5, food prices spiral outta control & mob rule sets in, I'll squat in a nice abandoned bungalow & claim it. ;D
