QuoteMovies in the park

JaxParks...Movies in the Park at Treaty Oak is a free, four-week-long movie series, held each spring at the historic Treaty Oak Park on Downtown’s Southbank. Enjoy family-friendly movies under the stars on the same land where silent movies were once filmed.

Beach blankets and camp chairs set the scene at Treaty Oak Park on the Southbank. Attendees are encouraged to bring your own picnic baskets, packed with tasty treats, or a hot meal "to go" from one of Downtown's many restaurants.  Vendors will also be on-site selling concessions.  Well-behaved pets are welcome, alcoholic beverages are not. Movies begin at dusk (around 8 p.m.).

April 8 - Cars (rated G)
April 15 - The NeverEnding Story (rated PG)
April 29 - Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (rated G)
May 6 - The Wizard of Oz (rated G)

I noticed a billboard on I95 north around Emerson yesterday.  Should be a lot of fun!

Is that the Johnny Depp wonka?  Has to be the most horrible movie ever made!  A severe insult to all things Wonka!  Bring back Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  A classic that should have NEVER been screwed with.

Just going by the title, I'd say it was the Gene Wilder one. The Depp one was Charlie, etc.

Yea, Depp's is Charlie and is rated PG (because its freaky deaky), Wilder's is Willy and rated G. That and they wrote Willy, its likely the Wilder version.
