The US Green Building Council North Florida Chapter is proud to bring “Carbon Nation” to 5 Points Theater as the second film in its 2011 Green Carpet Film Series.

The goal of the film series is to foster dialogue, awareness, and action on sustainability issues facing North Florida. Carbon Nation is a documentary movie about climate change SOLUTIONS. Even if you doubt the severity of the impact of climate change or just don’t buy ...it at all, this is still a compelling and relevant film that illustrates how SOLUTIONS to climate change also address other social, economic and national security issues. You’ll meet a host of entertaining and endearing characters along the way.

The first film in the series (Climate Refugees) was a sell out and was not nearly as widely appealing as Carbon Nation. Scoop up your tickets early if you want to ensure admission.

The trailer is quite compelling. This is the right approach to promote sustainable energy and green building.

Representatives from the US Green Building Council North Florida and the Green Building industry were on First Coast connect with Melissa Ross this morning to discuss several issues and also promote Carbon Nation.

Don't forget the movie is tonight. Come on down to the 5 Points Theater and support a great cause. There will also be several cool green tech companies talking about new technology and the industry after the film.

Oh, I so wish I could be there. This sounds like an interesting event.

Will 5 Points Theater be showing the movie again?

At the same time I had wanted to meet the US Green Building Council North Florida.

Doing something with one of my daughters this evening..........I could have canceled had I seen this sooner.

Sorry.
