This is a social gathering with a little organization, and an open mike for quick comments, poetry, or music if you want to play a song....  the main purpose is to get to know each other and share experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, concerns, either in small groups, one-on-one, or to everyone....  and to enjoy ourselves as human beings and fellow citizens in the process.
Audrey was and is a class act, and will be acknowledged for her service and quality of character, and Alvin will be acknowledged for his vision, but apart from that, an introduction, and some announcements, the whole idea is to meet minds of character and quality in a relaxed setting where we can come together and get to know each other a little better.
We have, and share, some serious problems, and this campaign, win or lose, can go a long way towards solving many of our issues- it is to be a womb, where ideas and plans of action can be born, and where we can come together as friends who share a vision of a better day.
