Amazing post, Stephen!

I was listening to Sander Van Doorn's Intro while reading it. It perfectly fits with the rhythm.

Very well said Stephen dare, although I am very supportive of Audrey, I like the way  You reached your conclusion in the way we all should. fair and square. Matt sr

Perfectly stated, Stephen.  A true sign of a great mind is a willingness to learn, so grow, and to better oneself.  Audrey is truly an intellectual heavyweight and she'll be will and able to listen to every person in our city, no matter their political views, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, etc!

+1 here, Stephen and Konstant.  Ryan and I were out early this morning.  Go, Audrey!

I wanted to add the fact that Richie has not come back to this thread since he has previously posted. I am really suspicious about that.

Well.... time will tell where the chips fall.   He seems like a genuine young man, and of course he spoke well of his dad, assuming it was he who posted here. And I have no reason to think he did not.  We voted and now we have to see where the chips fall, so to speak.  Our vote was Audrey. :)

I know he was out working hard for his Dad yesterday and today.  He has been an impressive ambassador for his father and a nice young man.  There is no reason to be suspicious of him.

Thanks to his dad's retirement package Richie is likely set for a nice inheritance.

Richie,

You seem like you are a bright young man. I hope that if you are one day in politics, that you keep it classy.

Your fathers negative campaigning against Audrey likely cost her the election, and will set Jacksonville back 10 years when Mike Hogan wins.

This.  The Mullaney campaign should be completely ashamed.

Agreed.  I didn't think I could be more disappointed in the people of Jacksonhole.  I was wrong.

Brown's gonna get hammered by Hogan.

Really it is not just "this". It is much, much, much worse. But I thought I would follow the Moran route and keep it classy.

Rick Mullaney will be as complicit in the destruction of Jacksonville as Hogan, if and when Hogan is elected.

I was at the University Club debate when Mullaney went after Moran and Hogan was sitting there with the most smug smile the whole time. Heck it wouldn't surprise me if he got Mullaney to do his dirty work for him.

Mullaney  just handed the mayoral office to Hogan, hope that was his intention and thanks from those of us who give a flying flip, thanks a lot....

What will eventually happen and it may not take much longer, is that if people like Mike Hogan have their way and turn this into televangelist mecca people will start to move away and they'll get their wish of turning this city into Gainesville, Georgia.  People like Mike Hogan make moderate Republican more Libertarian people like myself switch to Independent every day.  I will absolutely vote for Brown in the run-off.  And I probably fundamentally disagree with him on 70-80% of all things political.  But local theocracies just aren't my cup of tea.  :)
