Why is it that there is one police officer in my neighborhood that bought 5 houses on my street alone and has now turned them over to HUD....now my street is looking like trash...is there nothing we owners can do?

Well I suggest that you go over and introduce yourself to your neighbors and try and make them part of your community.

Volunteer to help out, make friends with them and turn them into part of the solution.
I tried that..i was accosted by two 15 year olds....there's already been 2 shootings and the cops are there every other day...what was once a nice quiet street is now filled with babies and drug dealers. To top it off...the police told me it was "managable"...

Where is your street?

I don't think my street should be put on here.

They sound suspiciously like republicans...
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Take Mike Hogan with you, he has the police and fire officials and if necessary, he has demolition equipment handy.

QuoteConsidering that this was the official policy of early RAP, it seems to have worked out nicely for avondale.

Police reports on the upswing in Springfield these days? What, I haven't seen a suicide or forced invasion in the Times Union all week, could this be sign of greater things to come????
