The Peninsula topped out this week, just barely eclipsing Riverplace as tallest on the Southbank. It will be interesting to see how the top will look, hopefully it will be lit up. It looks funny how the Southbank rises, the just east of The Peninsula, it plummets to almost flat. They are still working on the A/C and elevator equipment up there, but its reached as high as it can. The crane will probably come down in late December or shortly after the new year. What a view the crane operator has!

Hopefully, the St. John will start in the next few months, giving the Southbank a new tallest and connect the riverwalk with the portion south of the railroad tracks.

Unfortunately, I won't be here to see it really rise. I'm outta here in June, thanx Navy. But I will consider Jax another home. The St. John needs to rise, it will be an incredible building and you won't be able to miss it. The travelers on I-95 would have a terrific vantage point of it as well.
