NFL rewind/replay Wed 8pm. If we win in Indy the Bank should be sold out no excuses!!

I always worry about Christmas games in Jacksonville. With so many transients in such a small market, you've got to think that a lot of people, myself included, who would otherwise love to be at the game, simply can't due to out-of-town holiday committments.

Nothing wrong with watching this team that 6-7 shots of Rebel Yell won't fix!

Good point. And some of us just don't have sitters lined up for games...

EXCEPT for the next few!! Kid's going off with the grands, and I've already told Santa (hubby) that we ARE buying tickets.

Darren McFadden has to have at least 30 fantasy points from yesterday.

depends on the league....he was on my opponent's team in one of my leagues and scored 38 (though I'm still winning)....guessing whoever has him in the MJ league got over 40 points.

He scored 42.90 points in the MJ league, and I was very happy about it. Lake, however, probably wasn't.

Bring on the next playoff round!

I have been in a daze all day. When the season started I had no clue it would have ended so great. With all the ups and down, we still overcame. Even without the division crown, this has been a heck of a year!!!

It really has been an exciting yr. 5-2 at home and all 5 victories nail biting, heart wrenching wins. Jags please beat the redskins 31-10. I may need throat surgery at the end of the season. I have re-watched the Raider game and NFL your officiating must improve its unsatisfactory big time!!!

tufsu1

Ugh....I lost by .3 of a point in the MJ Fantasy league...just 1 more catch (even for no yards) by Boldin or 3 less yards for Foster and I would have won.

oh well, at least the Ravens beat the Texans!

Lucasjj

^ I saw that this morning. That was extremely close. I was suprised Lake almost came back and beat me. I already figured I won after Sunday, but I only got edged him by 3 points.

Keith-N-Jax

Wow another tough loss for the Texans!!! Why not run the ball with Foster that close to your own goal line??

At first I thought that the "Middleton hitting QB in the head/ Potroast TD takeaway" was BS until I saw NFL replay. It was pretty obvious that Middleton hit him in the head. If you don't like Goodell's overreaction of pansying NFL QB's then that's a whole different story, but all the officials were doing were rightfully enforcing Goodell's rules. Luckily that play didn't cost us the game.

Keith-N-Jax

Well if that's the truth then why did we not get several calls when DG was hit in the head and knocked down after the ball was clearly out of his hands. Their not consistent unless your Brady/Manning. Middleton was also fined, its not like he lead with his helmet.

Jason

Keith is right.  Middleton did NOT lead with his head.  The impact was caused by the other players forcing him back into Middleton.  Also, Campbell's injury was the result of his head hitting the ground.  Fines should be assesed on a case by case basis using the game footage.  The penalty can't be changed but Middleton should not be fined.

That is the current system for evaluating fines. For instance James Harrison has been fined numerous times this season for plays that weren't even called as penalties on the field. The league reviews all the hits and the fines vary for the severity of the what has been determined as illegal contact. Harrison has been fined $25K 3 times (I believe) vs. Middleton's fine of $5K,
And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

Then again at the same time, there are several calls that they SHOULD make, and they dont. They need to be consistant, because it seems that everyone notices this except for them. Or they do and just dont care.
