Why of course.

The title could also read: humans to be herded in to population centers to allow for food and water supply area..........

This is what makes for a toxic combination of "Outdoorsy" Palin and assumed related "Hook & Bullet" interests with the Tea Party. The outdor hunt/fish/recreation constituency has a long history of conservation effort ( Florida's conservation lands landscape a testimony to this) -and comprises or did comprise a loyal GOP constituency. It is important for many Tea Party types to direct this constituency attention toward the dreaded "Anti" rather than focus on conservation and related "wildlife" issues,as has been employed to an extent by design since 1980 when the Reagan team "targeted" the Outdoor vote.

Finally, after the GOP decrying constituency as "enviro ectremist" and lapse in conservation policy there has been some shift in allegiance away from the GOP. The Tea Party,so closely joined with development, represents that core toxic to conservative conservation interests and proves itself incapable of addressing population, economics, reactive resource management.

After a point, continued population growth and related development is what is destined to take away personal freedom, and worse.
Loomimg population pressures and the limits to growth is not lost solely with the Tea Party, nor are Tea Party members the first to converge on a Planning Commission in a provocative manner...........

In the Palin TP world you club a fish in the name of some understanding but we would never see Sarah come to Florida to help nudge on a conservation decision that would opt out of 'development' even if it means expanded, assured protection for hunting and fishing and broad economic, social and community benefit.
It is just a matter of time, perhaps a short span, until this all unwinds.
