Swank new LCD screens on JTA?

When did this happen?  On tonight's ride home (AR6 line @ 6:15), I had six (at least) small LCD screens and one large LCD screen on my bus.  Of course, in true JTA fashion, there was no actual content, but rather blue "whatever brand" screens.  I've seen these on the Pace buses in suburban Chicago and found them more annoying than helpful; however, I can't find any actual information about them on the JTA site (surprise!) or Google.  Anyone else have any further insight?
