Check out synclive.com.  This is a pretty remarkable little operation.

Im at starbucks in 11 east downtown, and they are setting up with a live performance with three musicians who will all be streamed live on the web tonight.

Its a pretty awesome idea that they have going for this performance as well.

Its called the singer/songwriters circle, and its basically a national open mic (prescreened of course)
