5 Points gets too wild for me these days. It feels unsafe and not fun on Friday and Saturday nights.
I've been there when they make it a police state, too. That obviously kills the vibes pretty bad.
It's a sad situation, a place that used to be the coolest spot to hang is now too popular and has turned into a powderkeg at times, just like Jax Beach.
Then again, I really don't like the club scene, which has slowly made its way into 5 Points and made it feel less "artsy alternative" and more "meat market night club"

Yeah, duh, and that's when I choose to go there. I was commenting my experience relating to the article that was posted above, the one about late night partying on the weekends
