David there isn't any easy way to say this. I feel like it is only fair to be direct and honest. We are through. This is good bye I hope life is good to you but I can't be a part of it.

I dont know what to say, what did we just witness out there tonight.

I am not sure just what took place on MNF............30 to 3 is nothing to write home about.....not pretty and not good!

Does anyone know when the 2011 draft is? There is a certain position that the Jacksonville Jaguars of Jacksonville Florida are in need of.

it doesn't matter when it is because he will be back next year. i hope they get the qb of the future, but i doubt they will start the rookie right away. be sure that you're ready to see more #9 throwing more picks to other teams when the game is on the line next year. thanks david, you made my prediction of the team going 8-8 a reality

JeffreyS

Horton or Tebow I bet one of them is here next year.

Oh c'mon... I thought we were beyond the Tebow rumors. If the Jags wanted him Gene would've drafted him when he had the chance. Denver made the investment and they'll hold on to him.

And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

I am not lobbying just predicting.

I assume you mean Kyle Orton...Tebow won't be here..and I doubt Orton will be either...remember the Jags already have a backup QB that has been an NFL starter (Trent Edwards).

a better prediction is that the Jags draft a QB in the first 3 rounds.....let them be an understudy for a year or two

JeffreyS

Yes and that would be my guess.

+1 Although I think Edwards may be let go if McCown heals well and is ready by training camp next year. He looked pretty sharp in the preseason and Edwards... at the end of the day is just another Garrard... except not as mobile.

Dump McCown... keep Edwards... Draft a QB early in the draft... and announce that the starting job is open to all three.  It is time for some competition at that position.  Garrard is average at best and average will get you... 8-8.
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

I agree. McCown did excellent in the preseason. I was so pissed when he got hurt. And come on Jags fans, toughen up and stop whinning like babies when things dont go our way. When we were on a winning streak everyone one was quiet, now everybody hates Garrard again. bipolar are we?  ::)

This team still needs a real QB, although defense is still the major concern. DG will get 8-8 at best. Wow DG basically gift wrap that win for the Skins although the entire team really played poorly from the kick off. I hope we can finish with a winning season, but its time to end the DG experiment. We may have to suffer one more two at best with DG, but its time to get a real QB if were serious about making a real run for the division and playoffs.
