When we went to hear a Noel Freidline and the choir there during the jazz festival, I was struck by the charm and intimacy of the space. A perfect compliment to some of the grander spaces of Jacoby Hall.

Snyder Memorial Church was a truly unique, intimate venue for the Jazz Festival in 2009 and it will be a part of the festival again this year. The Noel Freidline Quintet and the Jacksonville Mass Choir will bring back the popular Sacred Jazz performance for two shows on May 30. The church was packed last year so we suggest getting there early for a seat since Snyder Memorial Church holds only 299 people. We hope to see everyone there!
