Glad you could figure it out...  Had a great time Sunday BTW... ;)
In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Nice!  I live downtown and frequent all the regular places, will make sure to drop in this weekend, thanks!

Miss Fixit

I checked out your website and was pleased to see you have a regular happy hour.  Will you please add some of those excellent Bold City brews to your happy hour specials??

kriskiger

as soon as the taps are filled there will be a beer of the week that will be the happy hour special.  With this being the first run and the huge cost of 37 kegs and deposites i have to use cheap beer,  but for sure i want to buy as local as i can.  and i will have all bold city's on tap...........Sunday was a Blast bringing redneck downtown with nascar on the big screen.  We are doing it again for this sundays race, $20 all you can eat and drink, Pizza and bud light.  Ill Open an hour before the race starts again.

I notice from the menu there are pizzas called the Gator, the Seminole, and the Bulldog...so where's the Jaguar?

I'm an out of towner but will really look forward to visiting Northstar next time I am in town!

Those three are oven baked hoagies with french Fry's and Cole slaw crammed on the sandwich topped with our own special sauce.  Most of my menu is Pittsburgh based plus from what I've seen Jax seems more to be a college town as to a NFL town.  There is always room for another sandwich though.........

Sounds great!

I wouldn't agree with the college town conclusion though...I think it's a common misconception that gains the status of fact through repetition in out of town sports columns.  Despite the Jaguars' disappointing ticket sales this past year, many of us are wildly passionate about them, and for obvious reasons the team is more closely intertwined with Jacksonville than any of the college teams are.  That, and Jacksonville TV ratings for NFL games are almost always far, far ahead of ratings for college games, and that includes a direct comparison of Jaguars and Gators.  Jax is usually top 5 or so among NFL markets in NFL game TV ratings, though probably down this year due to seven Jaguar games' being blacked out.

Besides, Bay St. is for many of us the road to the stadium, painted with pawprints...just seems like a logical fit.

Anyway, enough of my soapbox; I'll be looking forward to those sandwiches as soon as tax season's over and I can escape from Va for a while.

I think Kris is right about Jax being a college sports town - way more Gator, Seminole, and even Bulldog faithful than devoted Jags fans.

Regarding darts - there are lots of people in town interested in steel tipped darts leagues - you should definitely look into starting one!

This College thing is nothing but media hype. These colleges have been around for how long. Of course theres devoted fans here. I wish people would get off that bandwagon talking about this being a college town. Plenty of Jags fans here so Kris dont leave us out,,, :)

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread with a Jacksonville as NFL vs college town debate!  :)  We can all agree on delicious sandwiches.
