Can you even imagine what kind of lift the crowd could give to the team by selling out such a meaningful game?

Got my two, I'll be there with my MJD jersey on in section 115. The same place I have been for every Jags home game for the last 6 years. It will be nice to see the stadium full again, it really has been a little depressing looking around this year.

GO JAGS!!!!!!!!

funfact: the surge in ticket sales are from the opposing team fans that enjoy watching the jags lose. ;D

They are 4-1 at home

As long as people buy tickets, I don't think the Jags really care who's fans put more butts in the seats.

Miami is on fumes at this point.

are you trying to lower expectations or coach the Dolphins up?

thelakelander

I'm trying to give the Jags a chance to make the game competitive.  It would be pretty damaging for ticket sales if Ricky runs wild all over them and the game is over before halftime. ;D

Espn... on Gene Smith.

http://espn.go.com/blog/afcsouth/post/_/id/6775/architect-smith-talks-jags-and-yes-tebow

QuoteGene Smith is straightforward, simple and a little uncomfortable when he’s the focus. He’s no jokester pulling punch lines out of his pocket.

Those are qualities that make him seem like a perfect fit for his job. Twelve games into his first season as GM of the Jacksonville Jaguars, he works quietly, anonymous to most NFL fans. That’s just fine with him.

With his team surprisingly in control of one of the AFC’s final playoff spots as it prepares to host Miami Sunday and Indianapolis next Thursday night, he’s been more popular this week, carving out more time to talk to people like me.

His first draft class has made as big a contribution as any in the league and includes a third-round defensive tackle from Temple, Terrance Knighton, and a third-round cornerback from William & Mary, Derek Cox. Coming from those non-powerhouse schools, both picks raised eyebrows when their names were called in April. Both have been effective and look to be long-term building blocks.

In a boat at sea one of the men began to bore a hole in the bottom of the boat. On being remonstrating with, he answered, "I am only boring under my own seat." "Yes," said his companions, "but when the sea rushes in we shall all be drowned with you."

Can you do anything about the weather? Cold and Rain, that always brings in droves of wishy-washy fans.

Just picked up my 2 for Sunday, you can get 50 dollar seats still, so get them.

Colts game, they only have, for single seats, club seats, so they said at Jags ticket office. Too bad too, I wanted to buy from the team, instead of scalping. But I will be there for both and show my support.

Looks like the weather for the game Sun will be warm and the showers may be gone by kickoff.

But reednavy would know better than I.

I hope so. I hope we have a good crowd and the Jags play well and win.
