this past sunday was my first jag game and im bitten. ive been to a few giants games in nj and its no comparison. Old giants stadium is closer to the roman coliseum than jax municipal, giant tickets are acquired through inheritance. This is why many out of towners come to jax to support their teams, jag prices allow them to cover airfare and a nice time at the beach.
jag ticket prices have to be the best value in the nfl, and its easy to avoid any parking fees.
Go Jags:)

Steve

^Does that mean we'll see you December 6th against Houston?

Well simple economics states that you usually tend to pay less for something of lower quality. ;p

Winning will certainly help, but the Jags need the Club and the box seats full, to stay. And that requires corporations. Many of the corps that bought these have packed up and moved on with consolidation. I like what Terrell Hogan has done, but we need every employer with the funds for Club seats to do the same. This is a corporation buying movement. It was the same in 1993 and it has to be the same ground swell now.

If not by now,why not-and when????

Solicit your employer to buy tickets and support the team. You want answers, look in the mirror, make it happen!

MAYBE they'll beat Miami, MAYBE they'll beat Cleveland, but against Houston, Indy & New England, no chance in hell.

no chance in hell against Houston....really?

"We've written off the Jags a few times this year, but I believe we can write them off for good now."

Here come the Jags... There goes the Jags...

BTW, when your sloppy as a moose with the ball, you'd do well to remember, our team wears the WHITE jerseys. Damn.

We have a good chance in every game we play for the rest of the season, we beat Houston, Miami and Cleveland and we'll see what happens against Indy at home and in New England. The season is not over by a long shot, especially with the way the AFC standings are right now. GO JAGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I would imagine the Jags aren't likely to make the playoffs this season. We would really need to win out to have a shot at the wildcard and the remaining games are some of the toughest yet. I hope we can win some of the remaining home games... especially against the Colts.

Regardless of the overall record I like where the team is heading and find plenty of excitement with or without the playoffs.

And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

I was not expecting much this season, I figured the jags would be 8-8 at seasons end. if they can get any higher than that they will have exceeded my expectations. But that game yesterday was just horrible, kind of reminded me of the seahawks game, everything they did ended up being wrong. But it's a young team and next year they should be up to the challenge. Hopefully no more 1st round busts.

Probably have to go 4-1 down the stretch to get in the playoffs, or hope for upsets, or both.

Denver has to play Indianapolis and Philadelphia, but its other games should be softballs (KC twice and Oakland).

Baltimore and Pittsburgh have to play each other again, and they both draw Green Bay and Oakland.  Beyond that, Pitt has Miami and Cleveland, Balt has Chicago and Detroit.

At least one of those three teams is going to end up 10-6, possibly two.

No need to give up hope yet, though.  Houston and Miami are winnable games, I find it hard to imagine we'll blow it against Cleveland, Indianapolis isn't indomitable and may have a bunch of starters resting after home field is secured.

I don't think yesterday's game was nearly as bad as the Seattle game.  There were obvious failures of execution, especially on the O-line, and there were clear matchup problems with their tight ends, but the offense moved the ball well most of the day and Scobee had a freak bad day.  I don't think Garrard was sloppy either; there just wasn't much he could do with the entire gold rush pouring in on him at once.  I actually was pretty happy with the game planning and can't fault the coaching staff.  Being short handed in the secondary was a given going in, and there were actually a couple of very clever play calls, notably the two fake delayed handoffs/passes to Thomas in the third quarter.

Considering Peter King is on a crusade to crush the spirit of Jacksonville and move the team to London so he gets free overseas travel, and generally seems more focused on coffee and politics and finding a way to bear Brett Favre's children than he is on football, I wouldn't take anything he has to say particularly seriously.
