How 'bout them Jags!

I almost cried when the dad came out onto the field, and again when i retold the story later that night.
I'd say at least 25% left at the beginning of the 4th, which caused them to miss some great plays.

The sad thing was that I was at the restroom during the Thomas punt return.  Figures.

Dillard's catch on the 3rd and what seemed like 400 was huge, because if he missed that, Podelesh is punting out of his own end zone, into the wind.

I don't even trust Podlesh with the wind.
The tourist would realize at once that he had struck the Land of Flowers - the City Beautiful!

The suite I work in on game day, found this family and gave them the extra tickets they have so they could watch the rest of the game from the suites. They even got them into the injured players suite to allow them to meet some of the Jaguar players.

Seeing them meet up on the field though was truly awesome.

A win in NY (actually NJ) this weekend could really make the rest of this season very interesting. Go Jags!!!!!

I was also moved when the dad came onto the field. I thought the crowd was good considering the titan game last week. I was glad to see the KC fans they bought tickets and spent money in our city. To bad our own people cant do the same. Anyway it was a great game MSW and Tomas are going to be great players, Tomas run back was fantastic.

They survived to play another day. I applaud the efforts of the players wholeheartedly but cannot give props to the coaches for any win this season. Call me an armchair "coach" but I'm sure there's plenty of you who don't have enough confidence in the coaching staff.

Think of it this way. The same men take the field week after week, yet from week to week it appears that quite possibly a different team shows up. Yes you've seen it also. So has the national media. One commentator has been quoted as saying "The Jaguars are as good as any team in the league but you never know which team is going to show up on game-day." Other similar statements have been made but this one should rattle around in your brain awhile.

What it boils down to is how the chessmen you have on your chessboard are being moved. Jack is not a good chess player which reflects in the way his coaching staff performs their jobs. Thus ultimately hampering the men on the gridiron (chessboard).

One last thing. i hate to be the barer of bad news but someone has to say what we've all known for several years. Wayne Weaver will be relocating the Jaguars within the next two to three years. Not his words but mine. It's strictly business. He doesn't care who sits in the stands or where the stadium is. The only thing that matters is attendance and that's just another word for business.

Don't get mad or shed a tear when the Jaguars pack it in and go to someplace like L.A. or elsewhere. We have no one to blame but ourselves. Jacksonville has always been a city of apathy when it comes to buying tickets no matter the event. That is why most big name acts don't come here. And why many cancel, stating a sore throat or flu. That is a nice way for a promoter to say, "I'm scared they won't buy enough tickets so we better cancel and refund those that have already bought." Promoters can't wait for walk up sales the day of a show, no more than the NFL can.

Before anyone blames the economy for not going to games you better hear this. I have a friend who goes to all home games during the regular season, come rain or shine. This man has the same passion so many of us do have but he lacks one thing most of us have. A job. Yes that's what I said. He is on permanent disability but still goes to every home game. The majority of tickets available are not expensive and if you tailgate you don't have to spend any money inside, if you don't want to. Now I'm not saying every citizen needs to attend every home game but with our passion, population and pockets, we certainly can afford several. There is no excuse but excuses.

So start preparing yourself for the departure of the Jaguars and the return of a stadium that's used once a year. Not including monster truck or religious events.

What a great time at the stadium on Sunday. Great weather, wonderful views and being with friends. So many people have no idea what they are missing out on. It is truly sad this City will not support the team. The Stealth flyover was really cool. Get out there and buy tickets for the Thursday night Indy game on December 17th. The last thing we want are the ESPN anchors that night focusing on how empty the stadium looks!

You could say the same thing about a lot of NFL teams. The Cardinals beat the Giants and Bears on the road but lose at home to the Panthers. The Eagles blow out the Giants but lose to the Raiders. The Bengals lose at home to Houston but win at Baltimore and Green Bay. Welcome to parody.

And though I long to embrace, I will not replace my priorities: humour, opinion, a sense of compassion, creativity and a distaste for fashion.

To bad all of Jax didn't see it. Also the farther mention to tell all your friends how lucky we are to have an NFL team.

Shwaz, thanks for posting.  I was there but was distracted when this mostly played out.  Glad to see the replay.
